Useful context, without leaving the page

Two Chrome extensions built around small, repeated interruptions: looking up aircraft details and converting foreign-currency prices into rupees.

Released on the Chrome Web Store

My role. Designed, built and released both extensions.

Flight Info on Hover and On-Screen Currency Converter
2 released extensions

Flight Info on Hover

When comparing flights, aircraft details often require another search. Flight Info on Hover detects a flight number on a booking page and lets you request available information by hovering over it.

The panel can show the manufacturer, model, age and operating history. Aircraft assignments can change before departure, so the information is context for the booking rather than a guarantee of which aircraft will fly. It is not a safety rating.

Available aircraft information appears beside the booking result, with assignment uncertainty kept visible. Screens use a stand-in booking page; aircraft values are illustrative.
On the page
A flight results page where every flight number is marked. Hovering one opens a panel with the aircraft type, serial number, age, delivery and first-flight dates, and registration.

On-Screen Currency Converter

I kept converting AI model token prices and other foreign-currency amounts into rupees. The repeated lookup interrupted whatever I was comparing.

This extension detects supported currency values, fetches current exchange rates and adds an INR conversion beside the original amount. It aims to preserve the page’s existing layout and interactions, so the extra context stays within the browsing task.

The original price stays visible, with an INR conversion next to it. Screens use a stand-in pricing page.
On the page
A token pricing table where each dollar amount is followed by its rupee equivalent in brackets, leaving the table layout unchanged.

Two focused utilities

Both tools were released on the Chrome Web Store. Each handles one lookup inside the page where the question arises. Usage was not tracked for the currency converter.
